"Advanced" (Hurlingham / Little Ship Club)
A partial list of the dances at the Hurlingham Club Balls.
These aren't generally danced at other reels balls. Within the full
RCSDS range, they are a popular selection that are also danced at the Little
Ship Club (the latter and the Hurlingham Balls are both MC-ed by Peter
Knight). Most of them are only slightly more complex than the standard
dances; many are equivalent to Duke & Duchess of Edinburgh or Postie's
Jig above; though a few (eg Schiehallion and Ian Powrie's Farewell) are
fiendish.
